SHIBOR rates are trending higher from previous months. This could signal the Chinese monetary policy tightening to provide stability to a domestic economy struggling to shrug off downward pressures brought on by the trade war.

Not quite sure... higher rates mean tightening more than loosening... Did I miss anything? The yield curve seems to be steepening though...
