China's Foreign Direct Investment Growth

China's foreign direct investment is growing as are approved projects.

Trade is the most prevalent investment countries make in each other, yet with all the talk of a trade war, foreign direct investment is still a viable form of investment that is not import/export trade. US FDI has increased since July 2018 from 17% to an August rate of 29%. 2018 numbers are in contrast to 2017, which saw negative growth all of that year. Overall actual FDI decreased in MoM numbers from 19% to 11%. A big takeaway here is the increased in approved FDI projects. Cracking 6,000 for the first time to come in at 6,092.
