China's Trade Balance with Major Partners

With all the tariffs and trade talk today, let’s take a moment to examine China’s trade balances with the US, the EU, and Japan. The US is still the strongest trade partner with a trade balance that cannot be touched by other major trading entities. The YTD trade balance with the US is 172.2 billion. The trade balance for August 2018 is 31.1 billion, Japan is negative at -4.2 billion and the EU is at 12.1 billion.
