I travel to one city after the next and often hear about the same problems that often come with being black. They talk about going to work everyday and dealing with people who would rather see them in the mailroom or the unemployment line. This is patently unfair, but seems to be a consistent problem that many of us face around the globe.

One important thing to remember is that when you don’t own the job you’re working, you’re always vulnerable to those to whom you report. This Black Wealth Conversation was presented as part of our entrepreneurship program in The Black Business School will give you some insights into the dynamics of wealth-building and how you can overcome the constant threat that racism is to your family’s economic security.

I’ve been a Finance professor for the last 24 years, and in all of my years of analysis, I’ve concluded that black power is economic power. Not much matters after that.
