Young Music Group Debuts New Song And Chases Their Dream With Help From A San Diego Nonprofit

On November 21st, 2017, Chocolate Journey, a San Diego nonprofit that empowers youth to realize their artistic dreams, will debut a new song and video entitled 'Mismatch Shoes' from the group Play Masters with Armani Barrett. The Play Masters musical trio includes Christian 10, Alahkai 10 and Chianu 9. The featured guest vocalist is Armani Barrett, star of the current hit Nickelodeon show 'I Am Frankie' and San Diego native son. Armani serves as a Chocolate Journey spokesman and a proud mentor for Play Masters.

Chocolate Journey's goal is not only to support the dream of these young people, it is also to provide a window into the journey. "We hope to allow others to go along on the journey while providing an opportunity to be a part of their success," says Chocolate Journey Founder Dr. Marchita Masters. The Play Masters Journey began on October 4th, with ongoing updates about the group and its members on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag #PlayMastersMusic and culminate with the debut of their new song.

Chocolate Journey is a 501(c)3 non-profit creative arts organization which assists young people in developing their artistic talents, entrepreneurial skills and community service interests. Chocolate Journey does this by providing young people with training to develop their artistic skills, including them in the production and marketing of their projects as well as financial compensation that comes from the sale of their projects. Chocolate Journey also helps to facilitate the completion of their chosen civic pledges.
