Most people know Yandy Smith from reality TV, but as is so common these days, the TV star is using her platform to launch some new business ventures. BET.com reports that she is putting together a skincare line, exclusively targeted towards “melanin-enriched” skin.

This skincare line will be an extension of her current beauty line, Yelle, and expect to see some products from the line in January of 2018.

"Yelle is dedicated to making women look and feel their best through natural skin care," Yandy wrote on her site. "We want to enhance your glow with a variety of products that will make you fall in love with your skin daily. Confidence and security is what we want women to feel with every use." Expect to see cleanser, toner, moisturizer and eye cream among the available products.

Smith is most known for being the wife of co-star Mendeecees Harris on Love And Hip-Hop, who is currently serving an eight-year sentence for drug trafficking charges. However, she was a busy woman ever before meeting fame.

Prior to reality stardom, Yandy Smith was living her life as an executive assistant at Violator Management. She had shown her producing capabilities by promoting a rapper named Jim Jones. Smith actually comes from the same place where Mendeecees Harris started his life. Being born in Harlem, New York, she found many things in common with Mendeecees Harris and got married on May 25th 2015. Smith also made her appearances on the Love & Hip Hop in the 3rd and 4th seasons. In those seasons, you can also a nice performance from Joe Budden.

Yandy Smith earned a position on Billboard Magazine's Top 30 executives at a young age, when she was not even thirty years old at that moment. The Love & Hip Hop turned out to be a very successful reality TV series on VH1. It has come up with at least six successful spin-offs including the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, The Gossip Game, Chrissy & Mr. Jones, K. Michele: My Life and Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. Today, she has a net worth of over $15 million.
