Dr Boyce Watkins: I went to visit my old job and this is what happened
So many great insights here and I especially liked your closing line but you're right, you just can't stress it enough to people (especially young people) that you never say f.u. to your job until you have another job lined up and/or have you're f.u. money ready. Rage quitting will always hurt you more than it hurts them.
great message here. i wish you were able to see some of the people that had it out for you. i wonder what they would say now. you're doing a great job keep it up!
I wish you the best with that success that's within you.
kimberl99, i believed in what I did so mich tha nothing was gonna stop me from achieving what I do now with my gift. you just need to believe in what your greatest asset/gift/talent is and run with it. For a period, it might mean having to straddle the fence doing the two things; your regular job and the thing you love most... but if you're determined enough and focused enough you will see that asset/gift/talent excel... eventually you will lose that which you dont want to do anymore.
i also appreciate this man for what he done in his life... I strive for he same excellence. i am independant, self employed and so happy for it... but i know I MUST do more to gain the success i am anle to have... and I see it too.
Thank Mr Boyce Watkins
I love the fact that you are financially, mentally, and socially strong enough to stand up to your opposition! i only wish I was strong enough to do the same. I admire any black man who could do this because this is something we have been for for a long time. I know I should be much more further along in my life than I am. I don't blame anyone but me. But I feel the exact same way you do. And so refreshing to see someone who is not afraid to speak their mind. I pray that I get there too. But until next time, stay strong my brother! I am following your post and everything else.
