Everyone can use a little extra money. It doesn’t matter what you use it for: rent, pocket money, a night out on the town… a few extra bucks are still a few extra bucks.
If you’re looking for innovative ways you can earn money on the side, here are few ways to go about it:
Rent your Accessories: If you are a clotheshorse, or have racks upon racks of shoes, you can actually earn a little money by renting them out. Help your friends out by being the go-to person for casual wear or simply when they need accessories, bags, dresses and anything that fits them – for a price, of course. Start by “dealing” to friends and people you know. Then move on to people they know. For a successful business, take into consideration damages and even total losses.
Sell your Jewelry: If you have any of the yellow metal lying around (if you’re just divorced and there’s an extra wedding band, for example) you can sell it. Lost a golden earring? Well, sell the one that’s still in your possession. Stores that buy gold are a dime a dozen – use them.
Hair Sells: If you’re blessed with lavish locks – a renewable natural resource, by the way – you can make money with it. You can earn thousands of dollars for hair that is over 10 inches long if it is undamaged and not dyed.
Shop only when you need to: Avoid heading out to the supermarket at every available chance. Make sure you need the food you are buying – only go shopping when your cupboards are empty. You save by not wasting.
Sell Your Eggs: Women can sell their eggs. On average, women between the ages of 18 and 32 can donate their eggs and earn as much as $15,000. Be warned though, it is a tedious process and you might feel a little ill after the procedure.
