Hi Mish. I noticed lots of ads recently for "investments" such as with Cadre (www.cadre.com), which seem to be offering "Institutional" grade commercial real estate investments to the average Joe. Looking at Cadre's website they say their experts hail from Goldman Sachs and Blackstone. Are they packaging and offloading their bad commercial real estate deals onto retail investors? Another is CrowdStreet, which started in 2014 for the purpose of matching "Main Street" investors with institutional real estate investments. (That have been "vetted" and in a market known for its "stability", of course! Their words, not mine...)
