The mortality rate from the Corona virus is not being calculated correctly. The ratio used is the number of deaths as of today versus the number of identified cases as of today.
However, the deaths as of today were infected / identified a week earlier.
Using yesterday's numbers: The number of deaths was 213 and the number of identified cases was 9816. A week ago, only 941 cases were identified.
Therefore, of that 941, as of today 213 were dead. That's about 22%.
